This notice covers this website only. It describes the limited personal information the site handles when you visit it.

This website is informational. It does not open accounts, take applications, process payments or provide any financial service, so it does not collect the information such services would require.

Information we handle

We keep the amount of information we handle deliberately small:

• Technical request data. Like any website, ours is delivered by a hosting provider that processes standard request information such as IP address, browser type and the page requested, in order to serve the page and keep the service secure.
• Anything you tell us directly. If you telephone us, we will hold whatever you choose to share for as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry.

What we do not do

We do not run analytics or advertising cookies unless you switch them on. Nothing optional is loaded before you consent.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising or profiling.

This site has no contact form, no account creation and no payment fields. We never ask for financial details through it.

Why we handle it

Who else is involved

Our website is hosted by Vercel Inc., which processes technical request data on our behalf in order to deliver the site.

Where information is held

Our hosting provider operates infrastructure in a number of countries, so technical request data may be processed outside Canada, including in the United States and the European Union. Where that happens we rely on our provider's contractual safeguards.

How long we keep it

Your cookie choice stays on your device until you clear it or change it, and we ask again if our cookie categories change.

Hosting logs are kept for a short period by our provider for security and troubleshooting.

Enquiry records are kept only for as long as we need them for the purpose you contacted us about, and to meet our record-keeping obligations.

Your rights

Under Canadian federal and British Columbia privacy law you may ask us for access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask about how it has been used and disclosed.

If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, you may also have rights to erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and a right to complain to your local supervisory authority.
